Richard Rock, Chairman of the Board
Mr. Rock is an attorney and a businessman with a vast range of experience in the areas of business development, management and labor negotiations. loss. He officially retired on January 14, 1997. Although retired, Mr. Rock still serves in an advisory capacity.

Richard J. David, CHA, Executive VP, COO
Mr. David is responsible for the overall daily operations of the management company, in particular the operations of each Rockgate Hotel. With over 25 years of industry experience, Rich is proficient in all phases of hotel management, including food and beverage, sales and marketing, revenue management, and asset protection. Rich has vast experience in new hotel construction and hotel renovations. Mr David's management background includes numerous positions ranging from General Manager to Vice President of Operations within the industry.

Rich joined Rockgate in 1996 and has served in various positions within the company. He has been in his current role since 2000. Rich is a graduate of Syracuse University's Whitman School of Management. He is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA), as designated by the Educational Institute of the American Hotel and Motel Association.

Lawrence C. Gates, President
Mr. Gates is President of Rockgate Management. he is also an attorney practicing law in Johnson County, Kansas (surburban Kansas City) for 35 years. He founded the law firm of Gates, Shields, and Fergu) Mr. Gates has been active in real estate development for over 30 years, including the developmson, P.A. in 1980. Mr. Gates has been active in real estate development for over 30 years, including the developmend and or ownership of residential subdvisions, apartment units, office space and group homes for developmentally disabled adults in addition to hotels.

Larry has served on the Board of Directors of Mercantile Bank of Kansas City and of Firstar Bank of Kansas. Presently, he is Chairman of the Advisory Board of US Bank of Overland Park/Shawnee Mission, Kansas. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Community Living Opportunities, a not for profit agency involved in providing living and working opportunities for developmentally disabled adults.

Gayle Gerhold, Corporate Controller
Ms. Gerhold joined Rockgate Management in 2001 when the accounting office was moved to Kansas City. Under Gayle’s direction, the office was relocated from Albany, NY to Kansas City without any disruption to overall operations. Ms. Gerhold has over 25 years of experience in accounting. Prior to joining Rockgate she served as the Controller/CFO of a privately held electronics and wire company.

Gayle has also worked for International Paper Company and Waddell and Reed Financial Services. Gayle is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. Gayle has implemented new financial systems and controls providing an efficient turn- key support package to our general managers.
